Here's another, early model SOTM...12-06-89 Oakland Coliseum Arena/Earthquake Benefit. Special guest Clarence Clemons.
You may have been to it, who knows? ;-)

That 06-07-91 Deer Creek is a real good one.

Im not sure which is the best but the following versions are my favorites:

9/26/93 - great performance, jerry goin off and ferocious solo
7/6/90 - (also on vault 1 dvd) - just a fantastic solo at the end
6/7/91 - great vocally, I love hornsby's licks over this one

thanks for the quick response. I always DL whole shows but after listening to the days between from 12/11/94 I wanted to put together a few great Jerry moments. Any other suggestions would be great!! I already got death/mercy-Baby Blue-He was A Friend.

Standing on the Moon

these are the best versions

08-21-1993 debut of Lightning Bolt, Garcia scrubs out the coda
03-16-1994 titanic version, monster Jerry solo/ outro
12-06-1989 earthquake Benefit with Clarence Clemons, huge!
09-10-1991 w/B. Marsalis
06-07-1991 Deer Creek, classic Garcia leads
06-02-1995 beautiful version, triumphant outro
12-28-1991 Garcia brings the outro down to a gorgeously realized lullaby on the geetar...

6.30.95 is the mother of all SOTMs. That whole show is actually really good, particularly in light of the time at which it was played.

yes 06-30-1995 is nice, but it's not as good as 06-02-1995 for nearby comparison (crtically speaking)...06-30 is definitely the best version ever to be played after 06-02-1995...and neither one of those 2 are as good as the 89-94 versions listed...I was at some of these...06-30-1995 does have a pretty damn good Terrapin, in light of the times as said above...best version of 1995...Bird song is also nice...back to SOTM, the best version I saw live was 03-16-1994...
